Good value - he gave me a quote, very reasonable, and stuck to it. Any situation that arose during the build that needed discussion, he spoke to me asap and gave options.
Good quality - his work is excellent. Accurate, tidy, thinks about the aesthetic as well as the functional side (again, asks your opinion if there are options of how he could do something)
On time / responsive - this is where Tom really stands out. From the very start, he was really helpful with how the process would work. He appreciates that as a customer that we are a bit in the dark, and showed me photos of previous similar jobs so I'd know what to expect, and the stages of the work. He sent regular update pics to show progress, and if I had any queries, he responded in really good time to answer them.
Professional - put all the above together, and you have someone who you very quickly trust and feel like you're working together on the project for a great result.
